Education of Obligatory knowledge and optional knowledge is best exampled by all Allah's prophets (from the first to the last):
The religion which they believed and followed, which they had preached and teached people to ask forgiveness, give thanks and worship Allah in their life's time to attain good life in this world, good life in the hereafter and be save from hellfire is an example of Obligatory knowledge;
while their professions as a farmer, as a shepherd, as a tailor, as a hunter, as a fisherman and etc. is an Optional knowledge.
So its up for everyone to see its differences.
Surely if any religion differs from the prophets it falls from innovations
