Hey Canadians/American advocates

STAND Canada (Students Taking Action Now: Darfur) and GI Net (Genocide Intervention) are coordinating telephone services to take action in Darfur. By dialing 1-800-GENOCID(E) (1-800-436-6243) in Canada, you are immediately connected to a host of MPs including prime-minister Stephen Harper, Maxime Bernier amoung others so that you may leave a message for them to take action.

A similar program exists in the US. Admittedly, I am not too familiar with American politics (I'm Canadian) but it essentially contacts you with your senator so that you may leave a message.
