There are many different factors associated with depression which leads to mental illness. Some include: Broken relationship such as marriage, death of a loved one, loneliness, unhappy life and many other factors. I agree with Salihah, people who suffers depression becomes a very stressful situation for them, negative thoughts comes inside thier head over and over again. And that thoughts comes from the feeling of being hurt, unaccepted reality that makes them go crazy. They cannot cope up, cannot use their defense mechanisms on how to avoid certain thoughts. Just lakie Salihah said, let it go. Let all things inside you get out of your system like expessing what you feel inside, what you're thinking. And by these your significant others will be able to help you, and will do all the necessary things so they can support you with your problems and from that you can start again, go on with you life and move on. Most importantly pray, have faith. But I'm not telling you you should get a spiritual healer, and that you're a bad person that's why you have experienced depression. Everyone of experienced depression because of the daily stressors in our lives. You just have to believe that other people can help you but most importantly you have to help yourself. Believe that you can achieve inner peace of mind and that you can go on with you life. Life is too wonderful to be wasted. Don't let depression beat or kill you, you are the ne who can beat stress and depression.
This statements are based from my experiences in my own life, experiences in my internship during my nursing college days in a Mental Institution and also Hospital affiliations.
