Bush is not my President, I did not vote for him either time, and unlike many people yes I actually voted. I'm anti-death penalty and yet I'm pro-choice., I don't like paying taxes, but I realize they are a necessity for a strong nation - believe it or not the government is not self supporting. I'm all about public education, I'm all about making education accountable. I'm all about social reforms that will bring about a healthier generation for a healthier future. I'm for socialized healthcare., I guess really I'm a ecclectic mix of convictions and causes, like most people I know, that doesn't allow me to fit into a box., As an American I have the chance to partake in one of the greatest political experiments ever because that is what America is, we are the first of our kind and I find political apathy rather disheartending and sad.ReligionI started life as a Catholic and left the church in my early 20's. I dabbled with a couple other christian faiths. Really religion fascinates me and I've studied most of them to one extent or another. At this point in my life if I had to categorize myself I am much more drawn to Wicca, naturalistic faiths, what many of you would call the Occult - what I call the religion of my ancestors.BooksIs there a bad one?
