More About Me

About Me

I am an attorney and a counselor. Those words have meaning. In ancient times, words meant something, meant power. Your name defined who you were as a person. My parents named me "Kurt." They probably didn't know it at the time, but Kurt meant "bold advocate." I try to live out my vocation as a tireless bold advocate. It's hard, but it's done. I am called to serve. In a much malign profession, I try to be different. My patron saint, Thomas More, "a man for all seasons," stood by his beliefs till death. I hope and pray to live out my life and career as he did. As for my personal life, I am half Spanish and half Asian. My father was from the Philippines and my mother was from Colombia, South America. I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana; but, now, I live in Jefferson Parish.
